Not a bad view at all atop Mount Peel
For those who have never undertaken the trek, a walk up the southern summit of Mount Peel provides a magnificent view of Westbrook from above, especially at sunset.
From the same summit, looking east you can see Drayton and further into Toowoomba and looking south there is farmland heading towards Wyreema.
Mount Peel also has had a northern summit that provides spectacular views, although it would be a bit of a challenge to tackle both summits in one trip.
The fairly steep gravel track means ascending the summit is not for everyone.
A pleasant bush stroll is still possible through the rest of the bushland.
