No, You’re Not Seeing Double
There’s another massive undercover arena in the region.

Allora’s pride and joy is the huge undercover arena, built at the Showgrounds during 2021.
Principal Contractor Barry Glass of Allora Engineering and Welding was responsible for the construction of the building.
Moving onto 2023 Barry Glass and his team are now building a very similar arena at East Greenmount. The impressive construction can be seen from the New England Highway at Lauralla Lodge.
This arena will serve a different purpose to Allora’s Undercover Arena.
Owners of Lauralla Lodge, Joe and Miranda Hughes recently purchased the property with the aim to transform wild brumbies into a life working with people.
He has found that horses have the ability to heal people suffering the effects of trauma.
Saving Brumbies is only part of the Joe Hughes story as he works with those who suffer from PTSD and other forms of trauma such as schizophrenia and sexual and childhood abuse.
Joe has developed a non-aggressive method of training horses and incorporates his clients into this training program with great success.
The facility, which is nearing completion, will also be available for use by the local horse community.
