No beef with competitors at Classic
Darryl Taylor was the overall winner at this year’s Goombungee-Haden and Oakey Beef Classic in what was a friendly event at Elders Saleyards in Toowoomba.
A quality yarding of 93 prime head of cattle was presented for judging at the recent Goombungee-Haden and Oakey Beef Classic, held on Sunday 26th February.
Judge Kurt Wockner from Oakey Beef Exports selected a beast exhibited by Darryl Taylor as the Supreme Beast of the Show, and winner of the Pentecost Shield.
Graeme and Wendy Motley from Plainby won the awards for Most Successful Exhibitor and the vendor breeder beast.
