New Weighbridge Installed At Warwick
The Warwick Saleyards have received a further boost with the installation of a new state-of-the-art cattle weighbridge, providing enhanced accuracy and reliability for weighing livestock.

The weighbridge replacement has long been anticipated as part of the Warwick Saleyards Redevelopment Project but had to be scheduled during the Christmas holiday shut-down of the facility.
Following the first sale of the year this week, the weighbridge operations were applauded and well-received by staff, vendors and buyers.
Agents Association Chairman Ben Johnston shared enthusiasm for the new weighbridge.
“The new scales performed exceptionally well and feedback from the first sale has been overwhelmingly positive,” Mr Johnston said.
“This technology ensures precise measurements, giving users complete confidence in the process.
“On behalf of the Agents Association and the livestock community, I’d also like to extend gratitude to Council’s Warwick Saleyards Coordinator Dean Porter for his dedication in overseeing seamless operations during the redevelopment and weighbridge installation over the Christmas closure.
“The collaboration between the new Council and the agents to realise the redevelopment is a testament to working together to achieve beneficial outcomes for the community.”
The Warwick Saleyards weighbridge enhances operational efficiency and bolster the saleyards’ reputation as a trusted hub for livestock trading in the Southern Downs.
