The popular Christmas Lights competition at Clifton will be revitalised this year featuring more categories and better prizes.

The new look has come about as a result of as a joint effort by Clifton Lions Club, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Progress Association.
“All to do with our shop locally message,” Lions’ secretary Maryann Bisdee said
“Our spies tell us that people look at the displays that a few houses put on and say ‘I really cant compete with that’, or that its no use entering that as so and so will win.....”
“With thanks to a grant from the Clifton Community Op Shop - again local
money coming back to local people - we have been able to get great lighting for the main street as well
as increased prizes for the lights comp,” Mrs Bisdee said.
