This year’s Steaming Under the Southern Cross event, taking place from 25 to 31 August, will incorporate the National Historical Machinery Association’s rally.

Event organisers said Kingsthorpe Park offers a fantastic opportunity to expand the event and accommodate all the exhibitors and their displays along with heritage and non-heritage vendors.

The site also affords increased camping for exhibitors and the opportunity for general public camping.

The event organisers are excited that the new site will offer the general public a “Bigger and Better” experience at Kingsthorpe Park.

The Rally will feature the largest gathering of steam machinery ever held in the Southern Hemisphere.

Vintage tractors, cars, trailer rides, old trade demonstrations and heritage displays will also feature.
