Museum connects next generation with bygone era

Back Plains State School students received a treat for their last day of term as they visited Clifton Museum, providing them with a glimpse into the past.

Students of all year levels from Back Plains State School were enthralled by the old corner shop and school classroom displays at Clifton Museum, which provided an opportunity for them to learn about how their parents and all those who came before them grew up.

The Back Plains students also paid a visit to the office of The Clifton Courier, where they learned about the process of putting together a newspaper with owner Ted Rogers and his team. The students have their own newsletter which they produce themselves.
