Multi-vehicle crash on Gore H’way

Three vehicles, one being a tilt truck, were involved in a crash at Southbrook on Monday around 1pm, resulting in the closure of the Gore Highway for almost an hour.

Emergency services rushed to the scene after a call was made at approximately 12.49pm.

Two of the vehicles involved in the crash were off the road and one was blocking the highway.

A spokesperson from Queensland Police said one of the vehicles had rolled.

When two Queensland Fire crews arrived on scene, the vehicle occupants were already out and being assessed by paramedics.

Two patients were transported for further treatment.

A female in her 30s was complaining of chest pain and was taken to St. Vincent’s Hospital.

A female in her 50s  was complaining of neck and shoulder pain and was transported to Toowoomba Hospital.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said it was her car that had rolled.

Once the vehicles were removed from the road, the highway was reopened.
