Motoring History Drives Into Allora
The Warwick Vintage Veteran Vehicle Club recently journeyed to Allora to the delight of the locals.
Gathering beside the Allora Golf Course the dozen or so cars made quite a picture.
At present members of the Club are organising their 50th Anniversary rally for next year, to be held on 9th and 10th March. The rally will be a great event for Warwick and surrounding areas including a day in Allora.
Approximately 120 members belong to the Club with new members always welcome.
Meetings are held once a month in Warwick followed by the next in Allora.
It’s interesting to note that the Foundation meeting was held at the Horse and Jockey Hotel Warwick on Monday 18th February 1974. President and Founder of the Club was Eddie Marshall.
