Kulpi won a dramatic 20-20 final against Millmerran at Pittsworth on Sunday.

Kulpi won a dramatic 20-20 final against Millmerran at Pittsworth on Sunday bringing the two rounds of the Bell Family T20 competition to a close.
In an action-packed day at Pittsworth the semi-final between Kulpi and Pittsworth was played before lunch and resulted in a dominant performance from Tim Dowe who belted 125 as Kulpi posted 4 for 224 in 20 overs. Kulpi’s Captain Brenden Schick made 44 and Marcus Frizzell 17.
Wicket takers for Pittsworth were Jacob Cameron 2-25 (3), Ben Cavanagh 2-35 (4), Chris Bauld 1-31 (3).
Kulpi fall of wickets: 21, 39, 153, and 165.
In reply Pittsworth managed 8 for 94 off 20 overs with Ed McGinn (32), Sam McGinn (17), M. Holcombe (15) and H. Cook (12) the major contributors.

After lunch, which was provided by the Pittsworth Club, the Final between Millmerran and Kulpi was sure to be close and spectators were not disappointed.
Kulpi won the toss, opted to bat and posted 4 for 175 thanks to Marcus Frizzell 54, Cory Dioth 39, Tim Dowe 37 and evergreen Terry Klingberg 20 not out.
Fall of Wickets: 93, 118, 139 and 149.
Millmerran’s best bowlers were Stephen Lindeque 2 for 40 (4), Luke Saddlier 1 for 4 (1), Dom Briggs 1 for 22 (2).
In reply Millmerran fell agonisingly short by only 4 runs to finish 8 for 171.
Best scorers were Jimmy Sinclair 66, Alex Sinclair 27, Daniel Betts 16, Alex Kahler 16, and Stephen Lindeque 16 not out, and 16 sundries.
