Meet this year’s Oakey Show committee

The Oakey Show Society held its annual general meeting on Tuesday, 21st June, with Judy Byers returning to her role as President.

Michael Matthewson was elected Senior Vice President, Nigel Knight was elected Junior Vice President and Betty Richter was elected Treasurer. 

Toowoomba Regional Councillor Geoff McDonald attended and chaired the meeting. 

“Congratulations to Judy Byers, Nigel Knight, Kathie Lang, Betty Richter, Michael Matthewson and all the other Office bearers elected for 2022-23,” Cr McDonald said. 

President Judy Byers was also awarded Life Membership of the society for all her years of hard work.

The newly elected committee will continue working on preparations for the 2022 Oakey Show which will take place on Saturday 27th August.
