Meet Our New Police Officer
Ben Ogden has spent his life on the Gold Coast - until now.
The Queensland Police Service (QPS) Senior Constable has made the move to the bush and is now based at Allora. Snr. Const. Ogden was born and raised on the Gold Coast but, after serving for 17 years with QPS on the coast, he wanted a change of scenery.
When a position became available at Allora he checked out the town and district and liked what he heard, so he’s bringing his young family to live on the Downs - not an entirely unfamiliar part of the world for his wife, who is from the Lockyer Valley. Snr Const. Ogden has a special interest in community policing and says he’s looking forward to working in the area.
