Matthew Denny Wins Again
Allora’s Matthew Denny took out first place in the Open Men’s Discus Final at the Adelaide Invitational held at South Australia’s Athletics Stadium on Saturday.
Matthew was unchall-enged with his first-round throw of 64.39 metres which was more than 10 metres to second placegetter Lachlan Page with 53.67 metres and World Under 20 finalist Darcy Miller third with 53.62 metres.
The Invitational proved a good practice run for Matthew in the lead-up to the World Athletic Championship being held in Budapest later this year.
