Mark your calendar for Toowoomba World Environment Day
its one day of the year in Lake Annand Park on Sunday, 4 June with United Nations World Environment Day.

The United Nations theme for 2023 is Beat Plastic Pollution.
There will be other UN issues of peace, multiculturalism, Indigenous matters, anti-racism, multi-faith and social justice.
These will be highlighted with music, song and dance, speakers, and stalls, with food available and children’s activities.
Also on the agenda are free e-bike trials, an international art exhibition and guest speakers.
Groups involved include the Women in Harmony Choir, Toowoomba Wilderness Society, Toowoomba for Climate Action and Permaculture Toowoomba.
The program begins at 10am and powers through to 4pm.
It is a free family day in the park to which everyone is welcome, including easy access for wheelchairs to attend.
