Man dead, another injured in highway crash at Bowenville
A man has been killed and three others injured in a two-vehicle crash on the Warrego Highway at Bowenville on Tuesday night.
A 50-year old man from Wilstonton, died after the 300C Chrysler he was travelling in collided with another vehicle, a Toyota Landcruiser both travelling eastbound near Mason Road.
The man was found by medics critically injured at the scene and died a short time later.Another passenger in the Chrysler also sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital, while the driver escaped with minor injuries.
The driver of the Landcruiser, a 55-year old Jondaryan man sustained serious injuries.Police are investigating and are appealing to anyone who may have dashcam or CCTV footage of the area around the time of the incident to come forward.
Investigators are appealing for anyone who may have seen the black Chrysler travelling along the highway before the incident to come forward.
