Lots going on at Vale View State School
Between a fire safety visit, hands-on tech investigation and the very exciting fete coming up, it has been a busy start to term 3 at Vale Vale State School.

Prep-2 Fire Safety Visit
Recently, the Preps and Year 1 and 2 students enjoyed a visit from Queensland Fire and Rescue, Toowoomba Region for a fire safety talk.
“This is Peter and Remco. They are firefighters. They told us about good fires and bad fires. I got to sit in the fire truck. It was fun and interesting,” student William Davies said.
Hands-on Tech Investigation
This term, in Technologies, students are learning about the main components of common electronics and how they connect to form networks.
The students have been dismantling old laptops and learning about their hardware components through this hands-on investigation.
Later in the term, students will tour the school and learn about our own school network and how it works to connect and protect us while online.
