Long-serving teacher aide says goodbye
Long serving teacher aide Helen Maddison has departed Clifton State School after 15 years of employment.

Last Friday Clifton State School said goodbye to long serving teacher aide Helen Maddison as she moved on to another school.
She had worked there for over 15 years, overseeing and aiding with the education of generations of children.
Helen said her favourite memory was school camps, especially Tallebudgera with former principal Damien Daly and school chaplain Donna Shearing.
When asked what she’d miss the most she said, “The social side, the friendliness and the collegiality.”
Helen said she’d enjoyed her time there and it had been a pleasure to see the kids learn and grow.
The school held a whole-of-school farewell for her on the 14th of September, letting her know just how much they appreciated her service to the school and the community.
Her journey continues at St. Mary’s College in Toowoomba in Term 4.
