The Angora show team students collect points at each show they attend if they are  placed in the competition, and the two highest point winners in Queensland are chosen to represent our state at the Nationals.

The two Queensland representatives came from Oakey High this year, Tayla Lord who graduated from year 12 last year and Charlotte Densley who is currently in year 10.

Tayla and Charlotte went into school during the holidays to view the animals and fleeces that they needed to judge.

Videos of their speeches were uploaded to the committee for their assessment.

Ag teacher Debbie Goudie said she looks forward to seeing how Tayla and Charlotte progress after this achievement.
