Launched this year in collaboration with Ability Agriculture, the SkyKelpie Scholarship is designed to empower individuals passionate about agriculture and innovation.

Mr Driscoll, known as "Bomber," is a proud brain injury survivor with a story of resilience and transformation.

After a car accident in 2017 left him with a broken back, neck, and a traumatic brain injury, Mr Driscoll spent seven months recovering at Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Miraculously, he walked out of the hospital and has since embraced his new life with determination and passion.

Before his accident, Mr Driscoll was a talented athlete, representing Australia in Rugby League for the Defence Force, competing against teams from England and New Zealand.

Today, he channels his energy into advocating for mental health and supporting others, finding joy and recovery through activities like Ballet for Brain Injury.

Mr Driscoll owns a 40 acre farm, ‘Stones Throw Away’, where he envisions creating a retreat for people to work with animals and experience the positive mental health benefits of connecting with nature.

His passion for helping others is at the core of his mission.

“Helping others is my passion. I want to turn ‘Stones Throw Away’ into a space where people can heal and grow,” Mr Driscoll said.

As runner-up for the SkyKelpie Scholarship, he will gain vital training and mentorship to further develop his vision.

“This scholarship will force me to jump through the appropriate hoops to start the business in the right way,” Mr Driscoll explained.

As part of his recognition, he will receive access to the SkyKelpie Aerial Stockmanship Course and 12 months of mentorship from the SkyKelpie team.
