Local Celebrations for Matthew’s Commonwealth Games Gold
On Friday, 14th October, Allora will come together to congratulate and celebrate Commonwealth Games discus gold medalist, Matthew Denny.
The Gold’n Stars Dinner will be held on the lawns of the Commercial Hotel where guests will sit down to enjoy a two-course dinner, catered by Top Paddock, and hear a Q. & A. session with Matt, to hear all about his recent experiences and what the future holds for our local sporting hero.
Tickets for the dinner are limited and available at the Allora Newsagency or on the Gold’n Stars Dinner Facebook page. Matt has some other plans for the Allora community earlier that day, so watch this space!
Matthew’s achievements fuel community spirit as he proudly tells the world about his hometown of Allora.
