Let’s Get Ready For St Pat’s School Fete

It’s a major drawcard on Allora’s “Fun” calendar and it’s happening on Friday 18 October.

A huge amount of effort goes into preparing for the Fete and volunteers are always welcome.

If you’d like to help, here are a few suggestions -

Make sure you buy some Art Union tickets from parents or members of the Fete Committee.

Everyone loves the Fete’s Bottle Stall competition (otherwise known as a massive Lucky Dip.)

Here’s how you can assist - fill jars, bottles or plastic containers with all sorts of items (soft drinks not permitted) and take them to School.

Tickets are then purchased at the Fete with winning ticket holders able to claim their prize on the night.  This is also a great competition between classes with the highest number of bottles.

Help will be needed on the night especially with the barbecue and drinks stall. Contact the Fete Committee if you’d like more details.

The ever popular Cake Stall will be operating and donations of cakes, tarts, biscuits and cupcakes will be appreciated.  To make the decision easier on what to bake - here is the plan

Talgai – Biscuits;  Cunningham – Tarts (Caramel Tart, Apple Pie, Lemon Meringue); Dalrymple – Cakes/ Cupcakes;  Glengallan - Tarts (Caramel Tart, Apple Pie, Lemon Meringue).

A Working Bee will take place on Thursday afternoon 17th to setup for the Fete and Friday 18th after drop off commencing at 8.20am.

Everyone is welcome to enjoy the Fete in the grounds of St Patrick’s School Allora starting at 5pm on Friday 18 October.
