Latest Technology For Allora Medical Centre
Dr Claire Schmidt of the Allora Medical Centre is excited about the new piece of equipment donated by the Allora Medical Support Group.

Allora will now benefit from a dual head Ultrasound machine that costs $9,000.
Instead of driving to Warwick or Toowoomba for an ultrasound, many procedures can now be done right here at the Medical Centre.
This small handheld machine has a pulse either end that can handle many applications.
From the ultrasound, images are sent to a computer screen for Doctor or Nurses to analyse.
Uses are many such as indicating a drip line for IV fluids and to examine internal organs such as abdomen and bladder.
Patients and the Medical staff are finding the procedure is quick and easy - a win win situation for everyone.
