Oakey Urban Landcare president Trevor Cockburn said the group has received “tremendous support” from the community for it recent raffle.

He said all prizes were donated and ticket sales were heavily supported by the community.

“All funds raised goes towards Landcare activities from fertiliser, fuel, new hoses and other maintenance and general running costs,” he said.

“We can get grants for projects but we need support to fund our ongoing activities.”

Mr Cockburn said he would like to also thank raffle ticket sellers: Diane Meredith, Tricia Parks, Rosalie Jeffrey, Betty Richter and Cathy Beasley.
