Jackson unbeaten after eight fights
Pittsworth professional boxer Jackson 'Stoneleigh' Griffiths has ended the year on a winning note notching up a Queensland title at the town hall in September the finishing on top in two international fights; in Thailand and Columbia after he caught the eye of an American promoter who offered him a fight in his tournament. '

He scored a fifth round stoppage against a highly rated Columbian fighter and so his record now stands at eight fights, eight wins.
Brad Smith who, with Gary Ruhle, trains Griffiths and other locals, said 2023 would see all Pittsworth boxers “Jed Garratt, James Timm, Jack Connolly, Tom Bromley, Axel Smith, Tommy Denning, Clancy Purcell and our girl Ruby King” step up for another successful year ahead.
Griffiths fought Townsville’s Aaron Stahl for the Queensland welterweight title in September.
