Here Are Some Happy, Healthy Blokes At Our Local Men’s Shed
So it’s right and most men would agree - hanging out with your mates is good for your health (especially as you get older!)

Getting together with a group of mates has been linked to positive health and wellness outcomes.
This week is Men’s Health Week (14-20 June) and the Australian Men’s Shed Association (AMSA) is encouraging all men to book in a date with their mates.
For thousands of older blokes the Men’s Shed is a perfect combination of somewhere to go and something to do, with a group of people with similar interests.
Right here in Allora we have our own Men’s Shed that welcomes all comers, skilled and unskilled.
If you are skilled you can pass on your skills, or learn from others at the Shed.
The shed is open on Thursdays & Saturdays (and sometimes Tuesday) from 9am -1pm (smoko 10.00ish).
All men are welcome to come along and have a chat, a cuppa and a look at what goes on at the Shed.
The main aim is to improve the general health and wellbeing of members by having an input in the community and each other, and a bit of fun.
