The winners of the 2024 Queensland farm safety calendar competition were announced recently and included Year 3 student Lexi Leov, one of just twelve winners.

Craig Servin, an agricultural unit inspector for Workplace Health and Safety Queensland, visited Greenmount last Friday to present Lexi with her certificate.

He also presented a certificate to Luca Cheetham, who received a highly commended, and certificates to every student who submitted a drawing to the competition.

In addition to their farm safety drawings, many students also entered in the colouring competition that was part of Clifton Country Week’s Iris and Rose Show.
