Greenmount land for subdivision

Toowoomba Regional Council is currently assessing a Development Application which would lead to the creation of more residential blocks in the township of Greenmount.

The application seeks to reconfigure an 11.67 hectare block to the north east of Greenmount into six blocks.

The land, on the north western side of the Warkon Street and Greenmount-Eton Vale Road, is currently used for grazing.

It is proposed to create five residential blocks fronting the bottom end of Gilbride Street (right) by carving off 1.67 hectares of the large holding.

These would range in size from 2000 square metres to 2446 square metres.

The sixth block will be 10.62 square metres.

The blocks all have access to the town water supply and to electricity.
