Goomburra Town Hall Trivia Night Winners 2022
The Goomburra Trivia Night stimulated and challenged the 11 teams that attended the event. Local team ‘North Branch Road’ won the night with Warwick Team “Ask me Anything” second followed in third “Alexandria “made up of Landcare and local people.
This year due to the support of Clint Kenny and Properties Ruhle we were able to give the Wooden Spoon Prise to the Christensen table. GTH committee offer thanks to the following sponsors: Allora Advertiser, Allora True Value Hardware, Allora Barber Shop, Allora Post Office, Highfields Produce, K Ryan, J&W Ellwood and the Railway Hotel. It is only with support from the community and businesses that events like this ensure the sustainability of the Goomburra Hall. Thank you also to those who have held functions at the hall it is a great venue to make new memories and relive old one.
GTH Committee would like to announce a success-ful grant under the Culture, Heritage and Arts Regional Tourism (CHART) program which will enable a display cabinet to be built to display the historical items the hall’s past and present committees have collected.
