Good moos: missing cattle located
Detectives from the Major and Organised Crime Squad (Rural) were called in to help locate 15 steers that went missing from a property north of Pittsworth on July 28th.

There was a mixture of Angus, Charolais, Santa Gertrudis and Droughtmaster cross in the herd that went missing last week.
Police initially believed the steers went missing or were stolen some time between 4.30pm on Tuesday, 27 July, and 8am Wednesday, 28 July, in the vicinity of Lochaber Road.
Despite this, police have since confirmed that the steers were located on a nearby property on July 30th.
The missing herd was described as mixed bred flat back steers, approximately 220-280kg.
The situation is not being treated as suspicious as it is understood the steers simply thought the grass was greener on the other side.
