Gambling Community Benefit Fund grants for local organisations
A number of local organisations have been successful in gaining grants from the latest round of allocations from the Queensland Gambling Community Benefit Fund (GCBF).

They were among 545 organisations across the State to share in more than $13 million in GCBF Round 117 grants.
Pittsworth Golf Club has been allocated $16,355 for electrical work.
Club president Mark Dalton said the funding will be used to install underground power changing the power supply from old clubhouse to the new to new clubhouse.
Mr Dalton said he was pleased with the announcement of the ne grant, which follows an earlier grant of $17,000 for solar power at the new clubhouse.
Pittsworth Danes Rugby League Club will receive a grant for $35,000.
The money will be used to construct a new storage shed.
The grant received by the Danes is the maximum amount available under the rules that govern the CGBF.
Another local beneficiary of the Round 117 grants is the Millmerran and District Shooting Club.
The Club will use its $26,794 grant to upgrade its facility.
The Southbrook Hall Association is to receive $14,060.
The grant funds will be used to upgrade the Hall.
Treasurer Peter Wenham welcomed the announcement of the grant.
“That’s excellent,” he said.
“It means we’ll be able to finish repairs to the hall.”
The Association will complete repairs and paint the exterior of the building and will finish repairs and paint the Supper Room inside.
The group Wyreema Community Events Inc. has been allocated $35,000 to upgrade the inner lining at the Wyreema Hall and to construct an outdoor area at the facility.
