The Royal Bull’s Head Inn at Drayton, managed by the National Trust of Australia, will receive $50,000 towards a project which will preserve and protect the historical integrity of the building by conducting repairs and restoration across the property.

The works will allow for the reopening of areas to the public, maintain the structural stability and improve the appeal of the inn for visitors.

The Royal Bull’s Head Inn is one of Toowoomba’s most historic buildings and is open to the public from 10am to 2pm on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month.

St. Luke’s Anglican Church in the Toowoomba CBD, managed by the Anglican Parish of St. Luke, will receive $14,250 towards the conservation of the St. Cecilia stained glass windows within the church.

As part of the Showcasing Heritage Grants program, Empire Theatre Kids Tours managed by Empire Theatres Pty Ltd will receive $15,000 for the The Thrive on Arts Festival, a four-day long event which attracts thousands of visitors.

It is taking place from Thursday 26, September to Sunday, 29 September this year.
