Mrs Angela Skillington has been nominated in the Category of Excellence in Teaching and Learning – Primary Expert Teacher.

“We are immensely proud of her dedication, enthusiasm and expertise she brings to the St. Francis Community,” St. Francis de Sales principal Brendan Redinger said.

“We wish her the absolute best of luck, although she has already achieved an incredible result, being a deserving finalist.

“Please pass on your best wishes to Angela if you see her around the town of Clifton.”

Angela did her teacher training at the University of Southern Queensland after growing up in Texas ( Qld).

Mr Redinger said Angela was involved with the full range of extra curricula activities such as school dances, Clifton Show events, sporting activities and outside of school, she   loves being involved with dance groups operating out of the F. E. Logan Hall.

It seems that after teaching in Clifton for fourteen years Angela’s passion and love of working with young students is as strong as ever as is her love of Clifton.

Teaching is a demanding profession and the Clifton community is fortunate to have teachers such as Angela taking care of our young people.
