First Talgai Goldfields samples shipped off
The first shipments of core samples taken from the Talgai Goldfields by Queensland Gold Hills have been shipped to an analytical lab for assaying.

Since drilling commenced at the Big Hill property, ten reverse circulation holes totaling 1175 metres have been completed. The analytical lab, ALS Global, is in Brisbane.
Queensland Gold Hills CEO and Director Blair Way said that last week saw the halfway point of the planned 2000-metre drill program.
“The drill is targeting the Queenslander workings to determine the source of the gold that was extracted by historic mining in the late 1800s,” Mr Way said.
The intention is to drill close to 2000 metre over approximately 20 holes in order to gain greater understanding of the feeders to these historic workings.
“With first assays in progress and the drill continuing to turn, we look forward to providing further updates over the coming weeks.”
