Fatal Crash At Cambooya
One person has died in a road smash at Cambooya today. The crash occurred at the junction of the New England Highway and Cambooya Connection Road at around 11.30am right near the United Etonvale service station.
A semi trailer collided with a utility and the driver of the utility was killed. A third vehicle also received minor damage.
The driver of the semi trailer was assessed by paramedics on the scene.
Multiple emergency service vehicles are on the scene, and the highway is closed at that point however diversions are in place.
Vehicles travelling southbound were diverted through Ramsay and vehicles travelling northbound through Greenmount and into Cambooya township.
