Equestrian Weekend
This weekend the 9th and 10th April will see the Allora Showgrounds a hive of activity once again.
As the Allora Show did not proceed in February due to the Health advice at the time, the Equestrian Events will now take place on the April weekend.
Showjumping and Hack Events will be the order of the day on Saturday, and a Dressage Competition is scheduled for the Sunday.
Spectators are very welcome, and entry to the grounds is free. A canteen will be operating, and available for Refreshments.
The Showgrounds is always a very busy Community space, and to follow from the Equestrian Weekend will be the Allora and District Campdraft from 15th to the 17th April. The postponed Annual Heritage Weekend will take place on the 14th and 15th May and one hundred horses from the Qld Lighthorse Association will be at the Showgrounds from 27th to 28th May, for the Boer War Memorial Parade.
Thanks to our Volunteers, the Showground is at its best, the Autumn weather has been perfect and the members of the Equine Community will be putting on a great display on the 9th and 10th April.
