Emu Creek P&C readies students for 2023
Emu Creek State School Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) finished the 2022 school year by providing every student with all their books and stationery resources for 2023.

Throughout the year, the P&C has held many successful fundraisers including the school’s Colour Fun Run.
The funds raised have been used to pay for school excursions, reduce the cost of school camp, purchase a book from Book Fair for every student and provide all the books and stationery resources
for every child for next school year.
Each year, the P&C donation to purchase the books and stationery for every child is very much appreciated by all families of the students as it reduces the financial pressure and ‘back to school shop’ on families over the Christmas holidays.
The Emu Creek State School P&C has also been successful in securing many grants over the last two years including the Woolworths Landcare Grant, Organic Waste Smart Schools Program, and Clifton Community Op Shop grant to purchase a new oven and microwave for the school’s tuckshop.
“Thank you to our P&C for helping make Emu Creek a great place to grow,” school principal Tania Schmidt said.
