In two decades, Jason and his wife Ainslie, have built up their business and eight years ago they added the local RACQ to the stable.

They run three RACQ trucks which can travel as far as St George and Emerald and across to the coast on any given day.

Jason said it had been rewarding to watch the business grow and expand with a team that prides itself on great service.

“The service we provide is honestly just second to none,” he said.

In his earliest years out of school Jason worked as a butcher in the business his father and grandfather had run.

He then managed a butcher shop for a decade before meeting Ainslie and launching their tyre business together.

Jason said the Covid years had left its impact on the industry, like all others it seems.

He said stock was now harder to land and costs more so he worked hard to secure more to have in supply on site which in turn required more space for storage.

Staff were harder to find but housing for potential workers was also in short supply around Millmerran.
