Don't miss the Goomburra Social Dance
If you like to dance and enjoy a good night out, head along to the Goomburra Town Hall Social Dance on Friday 14th April.
From 7pm, Rae Blinco will be providing the entertainment for the night with music for Old Time and Modern Dancing. All ages are most welcome.
Included in the ticket price of $15 you will receive a tasty supper. Bar and raffles will be added to the activity. Card or cash payments accepted.
As in tradition, Goomburra Town Hall Committee is fundraising to keep the hall insured for another year.
The Committee resurrected a newspaper ad from 1903 which was in aid of funding the building of our hall. The ad called ‘Goomburra Band of Hope’ and noted that “Prominent Ladies and Gentlemen of the town and district are expected to take part.”
