Discus Champion Matthew Denny ready to take on the world
Allora locals will be wishing Matthew every success today at the Tokyo Olympics.

With his personal best throw of 66.15 metres last month he’ll be up there with the best throwers in the world.
The action happens at the Olympic Stadium today (30th July) between 10am - 1.30pm AEST for the Men’s Discus Long Throw qualifying events for Groups A & B.
Then on Saturday 31st July from 8pm - 10.55pm AEST the Men’s Discus Throw Final will take place.Matthew is the only Allora athlete to have competed in two Olympic Games so he is used to the big stage.
