Special guest will be Leader of the National Party and Member for Maranoa David Littleproud who will officially open the Festival on Saturday 27th at 12noon.

Visitors come from all over to enjoy a weekend in Allora and spend time browsing around the old machinery including all Articulated and European Tractors along with European trucks and cars. A highlight will be celebrations for 50 years of Versatile Tractors in Australia.

Also on the grounds will be a collection of Aerial bikes along with stationary engines such as Southern Cross, Ronaldson and Tippet.

The Grand Parades, held both days, is always a winner as people can sit down in the shade and be fascinated by the huge display of vintage machinery.

Collectors and experts will be part of the two day Swap Meet where like-minded people can buy, sell, trade or exchange.  If you’d like more information phone Lyle on 0409 766 288.

During the Heritage Weekend a bar and barbecue will be operating with thanks to the Allora P-10 State School students and the Cancer Council.

Gates at the Allora Showgrounds open at 6am with admission $10 adults and children admitted free.

If you’d like to camp on the grounds phone Merv on 0448 973 286 and for general information phone the President Graeme McMillan on 0428 717 623 or Bob on 0428 301 866.
