Crofts notch 10 years at Ray White Pittsworth

James and Sally Croft have recently celebrated 10 years’ ownership of Ray White Pittsworth, a moment that has been sweetened by the organisation’s recent award at the annual Ray White Rural Muster in Toowoomba.

The Crofts acquired Ray White Rural Pittsworth in August of 2014.

Mr Croft had been advised by a colleague in the Ray White network that the business in Pittsworth was up for sale.

At the time, they were living in Dalby, and Mr Croft was working at the Ray White Dalby office as a Stud Stock Auctioneer.

Mrs Croft was working in Westpac as part of the Business Banking team.

The couple decided to visit Pittsworth and see what the small country town had to offer.

“It had a really nice feel, and I remember James putting the car window down after people had waved to us,” Mrs Croft said.

“He said, ‘See, I told you it was a friendly town’.”

The rest, as they say, is history. The Crofts went on to re-establish Ray White Rural as one of the leading realty firms in Pittsworth, and have expanded their organisation to Warwick and Dalby.

They currently employ 10 staff members in Pittsworth, seven in Warwick, and two in their newly opened Dalby office.

At the recent Ray White Rural Muster at the Empire Theatre in Toowoomba, Ray White Rural Pittsworth received an award for being in the Top 10 Offices for Settled Commission for the 2023-24 financial year.

The Warwick office received the ‘Client’s Choice’ award.

Mrs Croft said they take great pride in employing local people, and supporting team members as they grow and develop within their organisation.

“Over the years we have provided many different pathways for people within our business,” she said.

James Arthur has been with them for over six and a half years.

He started in the Property Management team, progressed into Rural Sales, and is now one of the organisation’s leading Rural Sales agents.

Mr Arthur has taken on the role of Operations Manager in Warwick and is a part-owner of the Warwick business.

Belinda Cameron came on board almost 18 months ago, starting in sales administration but has since worked her way up to Sales Support Manager, and recently transitioned into the Rural Sales Team as Lifestyle and Rural Sales agent.

Prior to her employment at Ray White Rural, Mrs Cameron successfully ran her own fitness business in Pittsworth for many years, and is a well known and respected member of the community.

An integral member of the Pittsworth Real Estate industry for over 30 years, Kathy Hohns is a name that many in the community recognise.

Throughout her years as an agent, Ms Hohns, with her extensive experience and deep knowledge of the local market, has welcomed many new faces into town.

With 10 years under their belt, the Crofts look forward to being part of the continued growth of the Pittsworth community in the coming years.

“Our commitment to supporting our local community remains at the heart of everything we do,” Mrs Croft said.

“We will continue to offer a range of comprehensive real estate services including rural and residential sales, commercial transactions, property management and clearing sales.

“We work on the ethos that no transaction is too big or too small.

“We will continue to remain focused on meeting the evolving needs of our valued clients while maintaining the personalised, locally driven approach, that we believe has been the key to our success,” Mrs Croft said.
