Country Week garden exhibits
Although the last few weeks have been fairly dry, it’s been some years since local gardeners have had such a good entry into spring and organisers are hoping for good entries for the Clifton Country Week Gardens Showcase.

Entries are scheduled to close this Friday.
Who will have the best scarecrow? - there is a class for this and remember it is viewers’ choice.
This is one for everyone, business houses, schools, non gardeners and gardeners.
For those who don’t want people walking through their garden - there is a ‘view from the footpath’ section.
On the other hand, if you are a keen gardener and want to show your garden to people and talk about it and share your interest to others - open garden is the class.
Maybe you have a special patio filled with pot plants - there is a class for this too.
To those people who have entered, the Clifton and District Progress Association says ‘Thank you’.
Organisers are looking forward to more entries.
An entry form from you is required as the organisers would like to do a map for people wanting to view our gardens during Country Week.
There’s an entry form on page 12 of this issue of The Clifton Courier.
Clifton Country Week runs from 16th to 23rd October.
