Congratulations to Allora Swim Team
The Allora Swim Team attended the WP Kemp Memorial Meet in Gatton on the evening of Saturday, 14 January.
There were some great results from all swimmers as they build towards the busy peak of the season.
Congratulations to the Senior A Mixed Medley team who were overall winners of the WP Kemp Relay event.
Bailey Harm (backstroke), Will Day (breaststroke), Alyssa White (butterfly) and Ellyse Kruger (freestyle) had an outstanding team swim to take the Gold ahead of Toowoomba Grammar in Silver and Western Aquatics in the bronze medal position.
The Allora Senior B team of Will Peters, Jett White, Ali Murray and Ellyn Moore also placed 4th in this great team event.
Congratulations to the Allora Relay team who took out the bronze medal position in the WP Kemp Junior Mixed Medley relay.
Well done to Tom Peters, Sophie Day, Maeve Moore and Chloe Harm on a very strong team swim.
After a hotly contested final, Bailey Harm was the winner of the WP Kemp 50m Freestyle Memorial Sprint in Gatton in a time of 25.05.
At 14 years of age, Bailey has added his name to the shield for the first time after competing in this final over the past three years, placing second in 2022.
