Community pays respect to Brett Knecht
There was a sombre mood around town on Friday, 18 February, as the funeral of Brett Knecht, who lived at Nobby, was held.

A fleet of friends and co-workers trucks lined Meara Place for Brett Knecht’s funeral service last Friday.
The streets surrounding Sts James and John Catholic Church and the church itself were packed for the service.
At the end of January, Mr Knecht died in a road traffic crash involving another vehicle at Bowenville.
He was an employee of J. R. Hart & Son.
The sole occupant of the other vehicle also died.
Following the service, the fleet began a procession down King Street and out of town.
