The three Pittsworth brothers, Quinn, Hunter and Tuff Collins, have been making their mark in the world of boxing, most recently with a win at the Battle of the Port IV in Townsville.

The trio trained regularly at Richo’s Boxing Gym in Hodgson Vale to compete in a number of boxing bouts across the state in the last six months.

The eldest, 18-years-old Quinn Collins competed in the Rebels Boxing Tournament in Ipswich earlier this year.

He won against Ezra Wharerau who boxes out of Limitless Combat Sports.

Prior to that, Quinn won the Queensland Novice Championship in the 63.5kg weight division against Warwick boxer Jack Hutchins, at Mermaid Waters.

Hunter Collins, who is 13 years of age, recently competed at the Battle of the Port IV in Townsville, in the 59kg division against Brayden Robino.

Hunter, who was two years Robino’s junior,   won all three rounds by unanimous decision.

He was very grateful to all of his sponsors, including local businesses Ashton’s Butchery, Pittsworth Hotel Motel, Bauers Plumbing, Lindenberg and Co. and Tyrepower, who assisted with his travel expenses.

Tuff Collins, the youngest of the siblings at age 11, fought at the Golden Gloves competition in the 34kg weight division.

His opponent was Leigh Thanh Nong from Hurslea Boxing Gym in Western Australia.
