Clifton tennis ladies serve up the Christmas cheer
After friendship and fun on the tennis court, the twenty-seven ladies of Clifton Tennis Club celebrated their year of social tennis with lunch at Rudd’s Pub where Christmas cheer made for an enjoyable way to take a break from the court.

The game of tennis is well known as an excellent form of exercise and more importantly an even better way of meeting people and enjoying the friendships formed on the courts.
With this in mind, club member Shirley Erhardt said the club is always wanting to attract new members.
Shirley said the club was made up of players of all ages and a variety of standards.
While the ladies take a break from tennis over Christmas and New Year, fixtures will begin again in early March on Tuesdays beginning at 8.30 am.
After a morning’s play the ladies socialise with a cuppa at the Jam Factory.
Ladies interested in joining should call either Shirley Erhardt on
0427 509 065 or Sandra Murphy on 0427 105 015.
Costs are $3 and a yearly membership of Clifton Tennis Club is $50.
