Toowoomba Region Mayor Paul Antonio and Councillors hosted the morning tea at the Highfields Cultural Centre.

The event recognised the newly elected student leaders of secondary schools across the Toowoomba Region.

Schools are chosen on a rotational basis year-to-year, and this year, leaders from Millmerran State School, Concordia Lutheran College and Cecil Plains State School spoke at the function.
