Clifton Museum needs your help
Our town has a wonderful pioneer history and we are fortunate to have an Historical Society, the members of which work relentlessly to preserve and display this history but now it needs your help.

During its history Clifton has had many hotels; some still standing and others long gone by fire or disuse.
The Western Hotel was built in the 1890s and closed about 1990 but is still used as a residence in Tooth Street.
The Clifton Museum only has the one recent picture of the building (above) but desperately would like older pictures of the building, especially ones from early in the past century.
If you have such a picture tucked away the staff at the museum would love to hear from you.
This is the best way to preserve the history of the buildings in this unique pioneer town.
