Clean Up Australia Day a success
Despite the grey skies tempting rain, Pittsworth’s Clean Up Australia Day went ahead Sunday (March 27) and was a great success, with our local streets now looking spotless thanks to the hard work of some locals.
The Pittsworth Scout Group participating in the Clean Up Australia Day event in Pittsworth.
The boys and girls from the Pittsworth Scout Group, along with two dads and two mums, collected eight full bags of rubbish which was lying around our town.
Those who participated did a great job and said they had fun as a group.
Pittsworth’s Clean Up Australia Day Coordinator Ros Scotney OAM said she was very grateful for those who helped to clean up our town.
“I thank all participants today in helping keep Pittsworth looking its best,” she said.
