Chemist celebrates Pyjama Day
Staff at the Oakey Community Pharmacy celebrated Pyjama Day last Thursday; a day that raises funds and awareness for children in foster care.
Every year The Pyjama Foundation encourages Australians to wear their favourite pair of pyjamas on National Pyjama Day to help raise much-needed funds for children in foster care.
Oakey Community Pharmacy Retail Manager Gianna Kelly said the whole store banded together to show support for this important day.
“We have decorated the store and counter,” she said.
“We also have a donation box on the counter for customers to put money into, which we will send off to The Pyjama Foundation.
“We also have posters up explaining where the money will be going and a bit about what this day means.”
